Rhea Ripley has sent a message to WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill following SmackDown, ahead of their WrestleMania 42 match.

With Rhea Ripley previously winning the women’s Elimination Chamber match, she is now set to challenge for Jade Cargill’s Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.

The duo came face to face on the March 13 SmackDown episode, with Ripley making her way to the ring to interrupt Cargill, after Cargill’s win over Michin.

In a new video shared by WWE after the March 13 show, Ripley sent a warning to Cargill, telling her to put some respect on her name.

Believing that Cargill is not a fighter, Ripley said:

“You want to talk a lot of smack, but where’s the fight, Jade? Exactly what I thought, you’re not a fighter, you’re a talker.

“You’re a little yapper like a little Chihuahua, aren’t you? I’m a fighter, and you can’t fight me. Put some respect on my damn name next time you mention me, otherwise I’ll make you respect me.”

Rhea Ripley to continue WrestleMania streak

Rhea Ripley will continue her WrestleMania title match streak at the April 18-19 event, with the Eradicator having competed in a championship match at every WrestleMania event since WrestleMania 36 in 2020.

While she was unsuccessful in defending her NXT Women’s Championship at 36, she was more successful in 2021, when she defeated Asuka for the Raw Women’s Title.

2022 saw Ripley team with Liv Morgan in the Women’s Tag Team Title four-way, which was ultimately won by Naomi and Sasha Banks.

Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 in 2023 to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, which would later become the Women’s World Championship, the title which Ripley won from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 in 2024.

Her most recent WrestleMania outing saw her and Bianca Belair unsuccessfully challenge for IYO SKY’s Women’s World Title in a three-way match on WrestleMania 41 Sunday.
