WWE WrestleMania Future Location Plans Revealed

WWE WrestleMania Future Location Plans Revealed WWE

WWE reportedly has plans to frequently run WrestleMania from a single location, according to a recent report.

As recently reported, WrestleMania 42 is seemingly set to return to Las Vegas, having previously been announced for New Orleans.

With WrestleMania 41 also having taken place in Las Vegas, it appears that the key WWE PLE may have found a frequent home.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has revealed that Las Vegas could be a regular stop for WrestleMania.

According to Meltzer, the decision to move WrestleMania 42 was partially because this year’s WWE PLE “made so much money overall in Las Vegas from all sources that they could not make that level of money in New Orleans.”

As previously reported, WrestleMania 41 was the “most successful and highest-grossing” event in WWE history, according to an official press release.

Meltzer would go on to state that another reason for the decision is that WWE “loved” having the event take place in Las Vegas due to key TKO executives living there or being based there.

The plan would be for WrestleMania to take place in Las Vegas frequently, not necessarily every year, but “on a regular basis”, as the city wants to have a “major destination sports event” each year, with either the Super Bowl, The Final Four, the College Football national championship final and WrestleMania.

This means any year Vegas isn’t hosting any of the other three, they’d be looking for WrestleMania to take place there.

While the announcement is yet to made official, it has recently been reported that WrestleMania 42 could also see a date change from its original plan.

The backstage and industry reaction to the change of location for WrestleMania 42 has also been revealed.
