WWE WrestleMania has rarely happened outside of the United States, but Drew McIntyre is confident of a future show in the United Kingdom.
In its 41 year history, only WrestleMania VI in 1990 and 18 in 2002 have been outside of the United States.
With WrestleMania 42 being announced for New Orleans and several events already announced for April 2026, the United States plans won’t change in the short term.
Drew McIntyre, however, is convinced that a future WrestleMania will take place in the United Kingdom.
Speaking to the Daily Star, McIntyre has revealed that his current mindset sees it as a distinct possibility, stating:
“These days I have a very different mindset than what I used to have, in that anything and everything is possible.
“It’s not just that there’s going to be a big show in the UK at some point. I believe there is going to be a WrestleMania.”
Previously, London mayor Sadiq Khan has stated that he is “determined” to host a WrestleMania in England’s capital city.
London has previously hosted the July 1, 2023, WWE Money in the Bank and continues to be a featured stop on European tours, with SmackDown taking place there on March 28 during the Road to WrestleMania 41 tour.
In May 2024, it was reported that Saudi Arabia had an interest in being a host for a future WWE WrestleManai.
Louisiana has also been reported as the home of a future WrestleMania, as well as hosting WWE Royal Rumble and SummerSlam.
