Here’s what WWE considers to be the greatest title changes to happen at WrestleMania events, with the top 10 list revealed.
With numerous championships changing hands during the 40 previous WrestleManias, many fans have specific title moments in mind when they think of WWE’s biggest show of the year.
According to WWE, the company’s best WrestleMania title switch came during their most recent outing, with the company naming Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 40 as the greatest title change in the history of the event.
This switch was placed ahead of Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank cash-in at WrestleMania 31, and Stone Cold defeating Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 14.
The top 10 list from the latest edition of WWE Top 10 is as follows:
1. Cody Rhodes wins WWE Championship – WM 40
2. Seth Rollins wins WWE Championship – WM 31
3. Stone Cold wins WWE Championship – WM 14
4. Becky Lynch wins Raw & SmackDown women’s titles – WM 35
5. Roman Reigns unifies WWE & Universal titles – WM 38
6. Shawn Michaels wins WWE Championship – WM 12
7. Daniel Bryan wins WWE Championship – WM 30
8. Kofi Kingston wins WWE Championship – WM 35
9. Sami Zayn wins Intercontinental Championship – WM 40
10. Randy Savage wins WWE Championship Tournament – WM 4
