He just wants to have fun and injuries aren’t any fun. Kalisto took to YouTube today to update his status within WWE.
Kalisto said he had been getting lots of inquiries about his status with the company after not being seen on television. While it hasn’t been entirely out of the ordinary for Lucha House Party to not be on SmackDown, Lince Dorado and Gran Metallik did appear on the show last Friday.
Kalisto was not with the duo while they were on their way to victory of Miz and Morrison, hey hey, ho ho. Due to an injury he suffered back in December, Kalisto is out of action, but wanted to make sure people knew he was still with WWE.
He didn’t provide an exact timeline for when will return. However, he did say he wants to make sure he’s back to 100% before he returns to the ring.
With all the releases two weeks ago and some coming out quietly since it did seem odd that Kalisto was not with LHP last week. Of course, it can be easy to forget injuries and the commentary team did not mention him.
We’re glad Kalisto is doing well and we hope he recovers quickly. Continue to follow WrestleTalk for all the news from WWE, AEW, and all the other wrestling companies from around the world.
