Zelina Vega Responds To WWE Hall Of Famers’ Emotional ‘Missed Opportunity’ WWE

Zelina Vega has responded to the “missed opportunity” that two Hall of Famers discussed after events at WWE Backlash.

At the Puerto Rico premium live event, Vega would face Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship but be unable to unseat the champion.

Bully Ray and Mark Henry had discussed the loss on Busted Open Radio, highlighting an alternative story where Vega was able to win the championship, even for a brief period, saying:

“Why not put that championship on her for two days? Why not get her over to the 9/11 memorial to take some pictures … at her dad’s final resting place that she can have forever and ever?”

With a clip of the story laid out by Bully Ray shared on Twitter, Vega has responded to the suggestion giving fans some hope for the future.

Post on her own Twitter account, Vega said:

“This would have been the cherry on top but know this, I truly believe that I WILL do exactly this.

“I truly, truly believe that I will because then it’s full circle. My promise fulfilled. It will happen… exactly as you beautifully articulated it. Thank you, Bully Ray.”
