WWE’s Brock Lesnar To Appear On Post-SummerSlam Raw?

Today has been a Brock Lesnar type of day. First, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the WWE Universal Champion was confirmed for SummerSlam, and now Rajah.com are detailing that the ‘Beast’ is being heavily promoted for Raw the night after the August spectacular.

Widely expected to drop the red strap on August 19, it’s puzzling what could be left for him in the company and what the role on August 20 would entail. With his contract now reportedly coming to a conclusion after the event, it’s possible WWE will grant Lesnar a few minutes to say goodbye before he heads off back to the octagon.

As for his current status, well Vince McMahon is adamant that keeping him away from television and building him to be the champion who doesn’t want to defend his gold will help his challenger, likely Roman Reigns, to be cheered from what will be a predictably hostile New York crowd. This would either mean Reigns will go over Lashley Sunday to build him for the SummerSlam main event, or both men will get a crack in a Triple Threat Match.

Braun, if we ever needed you, it’s now.
