WWE’s Daniel Bryan CHALLENGES UFC Star to a fight?!

Daniel Bryan, along with his wife Brie Bella, took to Instagram when CM Punk’s UFC 225 loss came up as a trending topic. Bryan revealed his belief that he could beat Mike Jackson on the ground. Brie, who was off camera at the time, challenged her husband to “prove it” in response.

Bryan, surprisingly, teased the proposition. “If WWE were to let me fight in UFC, then maybe,” Bryan wrote.

Mike Jackson was quick to respond:

The fighting words wouldn’t stop there. Jackson followed this up when talking to FanSidedMMA: “Look Daniel Bryan; I will do you worse than I did your man Punk because I have no reservations in punching this guy in the face 100-percent. And at will.”

This may seem ridiculous but can it happen?

Maybe. In 2016, WWE granted Brock Lesnar a one-off chance to fight Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Daniel Bryan is such a valuable asset to WWE and if rumors are true that Bryan has yet to sign a new deal then perhaps the offer of a one time fight against Jackson could help tie him down to a new contract.
