John Cena was last seen on WWE TV at WrestleMania 35 on April, 7. At the “show of shows”, John Cena showed up in his old “Dr. of Thuganomics” gimmick to interrupted an Elias musical performance.
Up until fairly recently, John Cena was “the guy” on WWE TV. However, in recent years he has been increasingly focused on his Hollywood film career. It was even reported recently that the 16-time World Champion was in talks to star in a huge Hollywood movie.
However, Cena took to Twitter recently to share that had received an invitation to a mystery event that in his words “will change my life”.
Very excited to say that I have received an invite to what I believe will be an event that will change my life. I’m certain I will cry my eyes out and simultaneously harness the power of a lightning bolt! You know who you are, see you soon, and thank you.

At this point, it is unknown what ‘event’ Cena is talking about. But one thing remains quite clear, it is extremely unlikely that we will be seeing the busier-than-ever John Cena return to WWE as a full-time wrestler anytime soon.
