Stephanie McMahon and WWE hosted an event for their female employees. The event was titled the Women’s Affinity Group and the topic was how to build your personal brand in today’s workplace.
I wonder if Stephanie McMahon lectured on how to take credit for the creation of Women’s wrestling.
Last night 135 female @WWE employees & Superstars attended the company’s first-ever Women’s Affinity Group, talking building your personal brand in today’s workplace. I am so proud of this new initiative & to invest in these strong women who make #WWE great! @Landit #WomenOfWWE pic.twitter.com/nYp5mha5lp

Okay, I’m sure she didn’t and I’m sure the event was very positive for its employees. However, a lot of the wrestling world is talking about Liv Morgan’s new look.
Liv teased on Twitter a while back that she would be coming back and she wouldn’t look the same when she did. As you can see in the photo above, she’s lost the pink hair in favor of blond locks.

Liv was blond for her run in NXT, but she went pink for much of her time in The Riott Squad. It doesn’t take a genius to see that over the years Vince McMahon has often favored blond women to be top of the card.
Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Trish Stratus, Carmella, and Michelle McCool are a few ladies with the long blond hair who have been champions in WWE. While these ladies were all blond, they are also talented.
Of course, there are plenty of examples of those who weren’t. Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, and Eve Torres were able to break the mold.
Liv is someone who is supposedly set to get a push once she returns to TV full time. It will be interesting to see if she gets a character update as well.
Morgan is someone who many feel has untapped potential. Will the change of look and potential new character be enough for her to breakout? Only time will tell.
