Matt Riddle has picked up an injury during an Evolve show this past weekend, but worry not, it won’t be serious enough to keep him away from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV on August 18.
An Instagram post by Riddle’s mother, let’s call her Momma Riddle, shows the aftermath of a steel chair shot which seems to have sliced off the tip of the talent’s finger. Whilst the wound looks bad now, once the blood has cleared and the stitched have been applied, it won’t bother him too much even though PWInsider are reporting that the star has pulled out of other dates because of it.

Matt Riddle has been on the lips of every wrestling fan in the last few weeks. First there was the rumor that he was joining WWE. Next came his loss of the Evolve Championship to Shane Strickland. Then a second rumor was abound that he would replace the injured Aleister Black in the main event of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, and now this. He’s had a very busy month.
