WWE’s Power Couple Cash-In!

WWE’s Power Couple Cash-In!

Thanks to its deal with FOX Sports to take SmackDown Live to Friday nights as from October 2019 for a mind-blowing $1billion, WWE stock is booming, and those who possess shares are raking in the benefits. At least that is according to SEC filings which say WWE executives including Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kevin Dunn shifted some of their stocks for gigantic profit.

Currently sitting at $82.52 per share, said figureheads are said to have made a combined profit of $160,807,208. Try not to pass out while running that figure through your mind.

Vince McMahon, however, missed out on a massive windfall – as if he’ll miss it – by selling over three million of his shares in December last year to fund Alpha Entertainment. The newest business model will be the backer to the XFL in 2020. For $32 per share, ‘Vinnie Mac’ made $100 million. A figure he could easily double if this iteration of the football league is a success. However, had he waited until today, he could have made an eye-watering $276,952,800.

Who made what (main staff):

  • Kevin Dunn (EVP of Television Production) – $10,193,023.90
  • Michelle Wilson (Co-President) – $10, 048, 328.50
  • George Barros (Co-President) – $9,995,474.32
  • Stephanie McMahon Levesque (Chief Brand Officer) – $1,440,569.16
  • Paul Levesque (EVP of Talent, Live Events, and Creative) – $1,432,194,24
  • Michael Luisi (President of WWE Studios) – $1,374,730.68
  • Mark Kowal (Corporate Controller) – $407,385.96
