On Friday night, Seth Rollins made a surprise appearance at an NXT Live Event in his hometown of Davenport, Iowa. More shockingly, Rollins appeared at the SCW Epic 2019 independent show being held at the Walcott Coliseum in Iowa the following night. SCW is the promotion Rollins started his career with, and he was part of the show’s opening segment.
Rollins and Marek Brave, the man Rollins appeared in the opening segment with, co-own and train performers at their ‘Black and Brave Wrestling Academy’ in Iowa. The school helps produce new talent for SCW.
Rollins came out to his old indie music and without his WWE Universal Champion. He thanked the fans for their continued support and said it meant a lot to be back home at SCW Pro, he also said that the future of wrestling started here.
This was a nice treat for the SCW faithful who certainly wouldn’t have expected an appearance from one of the best WWE has to offer when they bought their tickets.
