wXw 16 Carat Gold is Europe’s most prestigious and largest wrestling tournament of the year.
Beloved American fan favourite 1 Called Manders was able to win the desired trophy during this year’s jam-packed weekend.
The powerhouse from Iowa was able to defeat legendary Japanese wrestler Daisuke Sekimoto, British star Leon Slater, current JCW World Champion and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich, and finally wXw homegrown star Ahura in order to win.
1 Called Manders is now set for a future shot at the vacant wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship which was last held by the 2024 16 Carat Gold Finalist Peter Tihanyi, who relinquished the championship because of injury.
Manders stands side by side with iconic winners like Chris Hero (2007, 2014), Gunther/WALTER (2010), Sami Zayn/El Generico (2012), Malakai Black/Tommy End (2013, 2015), Jonathan Gresham (2022) and last year’s winner Laurance Roman who went on to win the wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship.
During the weekend, fans from the entire world were able to witness sensational talent like wXw Ambition winner Thomas Shire, former NXT Tag Team Champion Axel Tischer, Adam Priest, Irish-born star Anita Vaughan and Miyu Yamashita.
