Xavier Woods has shared his reaction to the news that Comcast is discontinuing G4TV.
The video game network acquired new personalities to breathe fresh life into its content in 2020, and officially relaunched in November 2021.
Xavier Woods was named one of these voices and became the host of ‘Arena’ and ‘Attack of the Show.’
However, the ambitions for the network were shortlived as the Comcast CEO announced on 16 October via a memo that G4 would be immediately discontinued, citing financial sustainability as the reason.
The news seemingly surprised Xavier Woods as he appeared to find out through social media. In a Twitter post, he said:
“On a flight currently. Decided to get the wifi so I could shoot a text. Out of habit opened twitter….”

Xavier Woods is one member of The New Day, along with Big E and Kofi Kingston.
Big E of course has not been seen on WWE since sustaining a neck injury during a match on the March 11 edition of SmackDown.
The trio did however recently reunite during a sketch for G4 on “Attack of the Show.”
Appearing alongside Will Neff and Case Blackwell, The New Day featured in a spoof commercial for ‘Fully Opposable Action Human’ figures.
Xavier Woods was last seen on the October 7 edition of Smackdown in a 6-man tag match. Woods and Kofi revealed Braun Strowman as their mystery third partner in a match-up that saw them defeat Jey & Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn of The Bloodline.
