Xavier Woods has now been out of action for several weeks after tearing his Achilles tendon at a house show in Australia during a WWE tour.
Woods has since undergone surgery, and despite having trouble pooping, he seems to be in good spirits.
An Achilles tear has a very varied recovery time from person to person, so it’s very hard to predict how long it will be before Woods returns. It is likely that he will miss WrestleMania 36, but you never know with wrestlers.
Woods spoke to Chuck Carroll of CBS Sports about his injury, and confirmed that even he doesn’t know exactly how long he will be out for.
Spoke with Xavier Woods. Told me no timetable for return from Achilles tear. “Could be 5 months. Could be 9 months. There’s a lot of wiggle room.” Interview soon on @CBSLocalSports. #WWE

Of course everyone will be hoping that it is closer to the 5 month mark, which would perhaps allow him to return ahead of or at WrestleMania, but WWE will likely want him 100% fit and healthy before giving him the green light.
The New Day have coped pretty well without him, winning the SmackDown tag titles shortly after Woods was sidelined. However, it just doesn’t feel right with just two of them there, so come back soon, Xavier.
