Xavier Woods has hyped up his upcoming NXT Tag Team Title defense.
On the December 20 edition of WWE NXT, The New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston will defend their newly won NXT Tag Team Championships against Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs.
This will mark New Day’s first defense of the titles since defeating Pretty Deadly at NXT Deadline.
Ahead of their title bout, Woods took to Twitter to hype tonight’s match. He tweeted:
“So happy to get the chance to check out all of these promising tag teams. BOYS GET READY FOR A MATCH TONIGHT!”
Briggs and Jensen have never won the NXT Tag Team Titles, but are former NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
