Have the reigns already loosened on WWE SmackDown? Tonight’s show (July 22) saw Xavier Woods on commentary who shared some history on Viking Raiders.
Fascinating note on commentary during the Viking Raiders versus Shanky and Jinder Mahal match on tonight’s (July 22) giving a little knock on the Forbidden Door after today’s enormous news that Vince McMahon was retiring.
While the New Day, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were on commentary for Viking Raiders versus Shanky and Jinder Mahal, Woods referenced the Raiders long history in the business.
Specifically mentioning that they were a decorated tag team, having held both the Ring of Honor and IWGP tag team titles from New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Previously known as War Machine, the now ‘new vicious Viking Raiders’ have also claimed WWE gold, holding both the NXT tag team championships and Raw tag team championships shortly after joining the main roster in 2019.
