As we sadly found out last week, Xavier Woods suffered a potentially career-threatening injury during a live event show during WWE’s tour of Australia.
The Achilles tendon tear he suffered could leave him out for a year, and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T fears Woods may never wrestle again.
Woods has now undergone surgery and his long road to recovery has started. But how exactly did he get injured?
Well, Woods has now shared the below video on his Instagram, and as you can see, it appears that it was literally no-one’s fault, and that the tendon just decided it had had enough of being whole.
That was a true masterpiece. It seems that he is taking it very well despite the sad music and the slow fading in and out.
He has already taken to Twitter to promise fans he will be making the most of his time on the injury list by increasing his video game streaming time, which is very nice of him.
As for his stablemates Kofi Kingston and Big E, they’ll just have to battle on without a trombone for now.
