Yesterday on Twitter, XFL teased an announcement in ‘T-24 hours’.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has noted that the company will soon reveal a new vision and direction, tweeting:
TOMORROW we reveal the beginning of our @XFL2023’s new vision, direction & CULTURE.
The new X intersection of dreams x opportunities.
For players, fans – all of us.
I’m ready.
I know you are too.

The original XFL was owned by Vince McMahon and ran for one season before folding.
The company returned in 2020, but just five weeks into the season, XFL operations were halted by the COVID-19 pandemic, before the company filed for bankruptcy that April.
Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia ultimately purchased the XFL, with the transition of ownership completed in August 2020.
It had previously been stated that the XFL plans to return for a Spring 2023 season.
