It’s been a rough time for the British wrestling scene recently when it comes to grapplers hanging up their boots early due to injuries.
In mid-April CCK member Kid Lykos announced that due to a series of injuries he was stepping away from the ring for good at the age of just 22.
Last week we reported that Charlie Morgan announced her retirement aged 27 at EVE WrestleQueendom 2, one year on from her headlining the same event.
And now another stalwart of the British scene, Jack Sexsmith, has been forced to call time on his career at 27 due to suffering multiple torn ligaments in a knee that had already endured ACL surgery.
Sexsmith announced his decision on a Riptide Wrestling show over the weekend then posted a detailed post on Twitter saying goodbye to his fans:

Sexsmith is a major proponent of LGBTQ+ rights and played an important role in helping communities be openly accepted in wrestling, be it those in the ring or attending shows as fans.
WrestleTalk would like to wish Sexsmith the best of luck in whatever he decides to do next.
