Yet Another WWE Executive Departs The Company

A number of WWE executives have departed the company recently. Now, the WWE Senior Vice President for Data Strategy, Pam Murrin is the latest to join the list. PWInsider is currently reporting that Murrin left the company last week.

The report also suggests that the recent string of departures is due to a changing of the guard as a result of the departures of WWE Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson earlier this year. The report also says Vince McMahon had distanced the company from discussing analytics and data on media calls. This was something Barrios was reportedly very high on and was the area Pam Murrin was the head of.

Murrin had held been with WWE since March of 2016. According to her LinkedIn, she described her position as “Leading evolution of WWE’s data analytics practice for all lines of business”.

This departure follows the announcements of the departures of executives Mark Kowal, John Brody, and Brian Nurse from WWE. Murrin had also worked for Time Warner, American Express, and HBO.

We will be sure to provide updates if any new details on this departure come to light.
