Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of the Young Bucks have hinted that their upcoming NJPW return could be their last time wrestling in Japan.
The AEW Tag Team Champions appeared in a video package during NJPW King of Pro Wrestling to confirm that they will be in action at the January 5 Wrestle Dynasty crossover event.
The Young Bucks have now made an interesting statement, updating their Twitter bio to hint that they’re almost done competing in Japan.
The duo’s bio reads:
“Japan, we have missed you, and if this is the last time, we promise to make it count.”

The Wrestle Dynasty event will take place from the Tokyo Dome on January 5, 2025. The show will feature NJPW, AEW, STARDOM, CMLL and ROH.
A huge match has been teased for the event, with Kenny Omega recently hinting that he could team with Hiroshi Tanahashi to face off against the Young Bucks.
Hiroshi Tanahashi has now announced a retirement tour, revealing when he will wrestle his last match.
