Former AEW EVPs The Young Bucks have returned to YouTube for the first time in almost a year, sharing a new video to their Being The Elite channel.

In May 2016, Matthew & Nicholas Jackson, along with Kenny Omega began Being The Elite, a travel vlog turned comedy sketch series that ran until the Fall of 2023.

Being The Elite was replaced by Being The Dark Order after that point, however, that stopped abruptly in August 2024, with almost exactly a year passing without any uploads to the Being The Elite channel.

That was until today, as The Bucks have now uploaded a new video on their channel titled: ‘What Should We Re-Name Our Finisher?’

As the title suggests, Matthew & Nicholas ponder what name they should give their finish – formerly known as the EVP Trigger – now that their EVP status has been revoked.

Going back-and-forth with each other with ideas, Matthew suggested the likes of KTB (Killing The Business) Trigger, BBC Trigger (because they’re in London for Forbidden Door), Too Sweet Trigger and Middle Age Buck Trigger, while Nicholas brought ideas such as the More Bang For Your Buck Trigger, Golden Trigger, Read it and Weep Trigger and the Hardly Boyz Trigger.

Eventually, after little success, Matthew & Nicholas settle on what they originally called the move before embracing their EVP status on AEW TV – that being the BTE Trigger.

The Bucks bringing back the BTE Trigger, as well as their return to YouTube had many fans in the comments expressing their hope that Matthew & Nicholas will be bringing back the traditional Being The Elite series, however, whether that’s in their plans or not is currently unknown.

Earlier this year Matthew stated that he had been contacted by someone high up in AEW regarding potentially bringing back Being The Elite, potentially in the form of a movie.

We will provide further updates on The Young Bucks’ return to YouTube and the future of the BTE channel as more news becomes available.
