WWE recently wrapped up a list on Peacock naming the greatest tag teams in WWE history, with the New Day trio of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods coming out on top.
After the announcement, Big E took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the victory, tweeting:
I know many will disagree with the list but being named the greatest tag team of all time makes me reflect on our journey. I’m massively grateful for @TrueKofi & @AustinCreedWins. I’m thankful we bet on ourselves & were unafraid to pursue a path that felt right for us.
Following their victory on this week’s (July 7) episode of Dynamite, the Young Bucks took to Twitter last night and appeared to poke fun at Big E’s tweet, saying:
We know many will disagree with the list but being named the greatest tag team of all time makes us reflect on our journey. We’re massively grateful for us. We’re thankful we bet on ourselves & were unafraid to pursue a path that felt right for us.
Matt and Nick Jackson defeated Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships at this week’s AEW Road Rager episode of Dynamite, a show highlighted by the AEW debut of Malakai (Aleister) Black.
