At last month’s AEW Double or Nothing show, one of the most enjoyable matches was the tag team clash between the Lucha Bros and the Young Bucks for the AAA World Tag Team Championships.
At the big show, Matt and Nick Jackson successfully retained the titles they won from Pentagon Jr. and Fenix back in March at AAA’s Rey de Reyes event.
Last month it was confirmed that a rematch from the AEW pay-per-view would be taking place between the two sets of brothers for the titles at AAA Verano de Escandalo.

The show is set to take place tonight from 5pm CT (11pm BST) and can be viewed on AAA’s Twitch channel.
Matt Jackson took to Twitter this week to promote the exciting match and delivered a message to the brothers in Spanish. In the post, Matt promises to unmask his opponents if the Young Bucks are successful tonight.

However, Pentagon, Fenix, Matt and Nick Jackson might not be the only AEW stars appearing at AAA’s big show tonight.
During last night’s AAA event, the English commentary team revealed that Cody Rhodes would be appearing at Verano de Escandalo.
According to WrestlingInc, they also teased that some other surprise names from Tony Khan’s new promotion could be in attendance.
This has yet to be officially confirmed by AEW, or Cody Rhodes.
