The December 2 edition of Young Rock featured another huge tease that The Rock will return to the ring at WrestleMania 39.
As previously reported, it is expected that The Rock vs Roman Reigns will headline the April 1-2 2023 WrestleMania 39 event, if The Rock’s schedule allows for him to train for a wrestling return.
While WWE hasn’t explicitly teased The Rock’s WWE return, the Hollywood star has, on his NBC show Young Rock.
During a scene which took place in the future in Friday’s episode, fans got a good look at the Prime Minister’s wrestling merch collection, which featured many Dwayne Johnson collectables, in addition to titles he held during his WWE career.
The scene has been causing a stir online as front and center in the collection is the current version of the Universal Championship.
Roman Reigns currently carries the gold. While he is recognised as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after unifying the WWE and Universal titles at WrestleMania 38, the Tribal Chief still carries both title belts.
This isn’t the first time that the show has teased a Rock vs Roman Reigns dream match. On the April 12 episode in a scene set in the past, The Rock stopped a young Roman Reigns from fighting him, noting:
“No, the world is not ready! A match that big can happen only happen at WrestleMania.”
Reigns last defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Logan Paul at the November 5 Crown Jewel premium live event.

Another potentially HUGE #YoungRock easter egg I missed last night that my friend pointed out to me.
On the Prime Minister's case that holds all of The Rock's past accomplishments, the centerpiece on top is the blue Universal Championship that Roman Reigns currently holds… 👀 pic.twitter.com/FVvniHGn3g
