Zack Ryder WWE Status Update After SmackDown Return WWE

Matt Cardona, aka Zack Ryder, has shared an update on his WWE status following his recent return on Friday Night SmackDown.

Cardona was in action on the November 14 edition of SmackDown, wrestling as Zack Ryder for the first time in five years.

Zack Ryder was revealed to be LA Knight’s surprise opponent in the Last Time Is Now tournament, which is set to determine John Cena’s final opponent.

In a post-match interview, Ryder indicated that he hadn’t signed a full-time deal with WWE, stating that he doesn’t know whether or not to expect a call from the company, before LA Knight entered and noted that he didn’t know whether this was a “welcome back” or a “see you later.”

Cardona has now commented on his in-ring future, confirming that it was a one-time appearance.
