Zayda Steel has commented on signing a WWE Independent Development contract after being announced as the first signee today.
WWE announced it’s new Independent Development project last week, with WWE teasing 20 names had signed with the program.
Today, WWE began officially announcing names signed to the program, the first being CZW’s Zayda Steel.
Steel had been working for Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion this Summer, with her finishing up with the promotion at the same time as Giulia in August.
Taking to Twitter, Zayda reacted to being announced as the first WWE Independent Development signing, simply writing:
The real ones get it and so will you #RealDeal
After announcing Zayda’s signing, WWE has also announced that Wrestling Open’s Bryce Donovan has signed a WWE ID contract.
