Zelina Vega Hits Back At Fans Saying She Was ‘Buried’ On SmackDown

Zelina Vega return to WWE a few weeks ago, and since her triumphant return has lost to Liv Morgan, was hypnotised by Alexa Bliss, and on last night’s SmackDown she lost to a debuting Toni Storm.

Unsurprisingly following these results, some fans have suggested that Vega is being buried and is viewed as SmackDown’s new resident jobber, but Vega had a few words for fans making these suggestions.

Taking to Twitter, she said:

1. That belt distracted the hell out of me.. seriously what was that about?!

2. Guess who didn’t lose today? My bank account.

Boom.

Clearly she’s been taking Twitter tips from Seth Rollins.

Vega was famously released by WWE at the end of 2020 after refusing to hand over control of her third party platforms to WWE. She also tweeted about unionisation after her release, but upon being re-hired by WWE, the tweet was deleted.

Time will tell if WWE has any real plans for Vega, or whether she was just brought in so there was someone to take a pin every Friday night.
