Former WWE star Zelina Vega, who was released by the company last month, has taken to social media and she seems pretty excited.
Despite her obvious talent, Vega was let go by WWE for refusing to comply with the ridiculous rule that talent aren’t allowed to stream on Twitch – as well as use other platforms – independently, despite being independent contractors.
Vega, real name Thea Trinidad (Budgen), has now tweeted:
Omgomgomgomgomg the call I just had omgomgomg
Obviously, we don’t know what the call was about, but we do know that Vega has stated that she is in support of wrestlers unionising, and has at least been in communication with SAG-AFTRA previously.
We’ll keep you updated and we continue to wish Vega all the best in whatever she chooses to pursue in the future.
