Zelina Vega was in action on the September 9 WWE Raw and wore a tribute to her father who died in the 9/11 attacks.
On September 11, 2001, when Vega was just ten years old, she lost her father in the attack on the World Trade Center.
As the anniversary of the atrocity approaches, Vega was seen sporting an arm wrap on yesterday’s WWE Raw.
The wrap, which can be seen below this news story, features the wording “Never Forget” along with her father’s name, Michael Trinidad.
A fan noticed the touching tribute to her father, commenting about it on Twitter, with Vega going on to reveal:
“Best part about that.. Rey wrote it for me. 🥲”
Vega teamed up with Lyra Valkyria and the returning Natalya to take on Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler).

Elsewhere on the show, Rey Mysterio took on Finn Balor one-on-one, picking up the win via disqualification after Balor refused to relinquish a Half Boston Crab.
