ZERO1 has announced a joint event with NJPW and Pro Wrestling NOAH with the proceeds going to an injured Japanese legend.
ZERO1 announced an event on June 4 at Ota City General Gymnasium that will feature New Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH with proceeds from sales going to Shinjiro Otani.
Otani suffered a cervical cord injury on April 10 during a contest against Takashi Sugiura. He underwent successful surgery on April 13.
ZERO1 released the following statement on their website:
“Oshinobu PREMIUM ONE TEAM ZERO1! Shinjiro Otani Aid!! Stand up as many times as you want!”
※In this tournament, we will donate the full amount of proceeds minus miscellaneous expenses from sales to Shinjiro Otani.
