An update has emerged regarding Zoey Stark’s status after suffering an injury during her match on this week’s WWE Raw (May 19)
This past Monday’s episode of Raw saw Zoey Stark compete in a women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley.
During the match Stark attempted to deliver a springboard missile drop-kick on Sane, but instead suffered an awkward landing on her leg and was immediately tended to by WWE’s medical staff and carried to the back.
While details have been sparse regarding the exact nature and severity of Stark’s injury since Monday night, she has since taken to social media to thank her fans for their support.
In a new update on the situation, Fightful Select has revealed that the initial fear backstage in WWE was that Stark had suffered a tear that would require surgery, however, that has not been confirmed as of now.
Despite the details of the injury still being unclear, those Fightful spoke to within WWE are said to be preparing not to have Stark available for the remainder of 2025.
We will continue to provide updates on Stark’s status and recovery as more news becomes available and wish her a safe and speedy recovery.
