Keith Lee Debuts For NXT
…And after being on camera at NXT TakeOver: Chicago last month, Lee had his first match for the black and yellow brand at the latest set of tapings, beating enhancement talent Marcel Barthel in a match that should air on August 8th or 15th.
CGW welcomes… Haiku!
And before we get into the rest of the NXT spoilers, we would like to officially announce Haiku has joined the ranks of Crap Gimmick Wrestling – and here is his Lewis Tillett drawn trading card. You can follow Lewis’ artwork over at Instagram.com/lewistillettart, and thank you Swaftnation member Adam Emond for the CGW submission. Trading cards for Chris P. Bacon, The Adventure Party, Beastmaster and Video Man are also in the works.
NXT Spoilers!
Which brings us to the NXT spoiler section of this show, so if you want to avoid the next few weeks of TV leading up to TakeOver: Brooklyn IV – I suggest clicking on another WrestleTalk video and step away from this one. We’re heading into the Spoiler Room Brawl in 3…2…1…
NXT filmed the rest of their WWE Network episodes that will lead into TakeOver: Brooklyn IV on Saturday the 18th August, which now has a complete card – Moustache Mountain will get their rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championships against Undisputed Era, Ricochet will challenge Adam Cole for the North American Championship, Shayna Baszler defends her Women’s Championship against Kairi Sane and EC3 will take on Velveteen Dream. Also on the tapings, Taynara Conti defeated Vanessa Borne to qualify for the Mae Young Classic 2, Street Profits entered into a feud with The Mighty and a feud between War Raiders and Undisputed Era was teased after they saved Ricochet from a three-man beatdown. Kassius Ohno also won a match, so that’s pretty newsworthy
Which brings us to the NXT Championship match at TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. And well, it’s certainly interesting.
