WrestleZone are reporting the next WWE draft, superstar shake-up, wrestling roundabout party – whatever they’re calling the thing where people move from brand to brand this year – is being discussed for the Backlash pay-per-view on 6th May.
Starting with the Backlash PPV May 6th, all PPVs going forward will be dual branded. No more RAW or Smackdown exclusive shows. Source states repetitive matchups to fill the card along with so-so ticket sales lead to the decision.
The weekly TV shows will not be effected.

This backs up the email WWE sent out yesterday announcing that Backlash will feature both Raw and SmackDown wrestlers, and the reports that all pay-per-views will be dual-branded going forward. Apparently WWE holding the 2018 draft at Backlash would be a way to “jumpstart the all duel brand PPV format going forward.”
