Real Reason Shinsuke Nakamura MISSED WWE SmackDown! WrestleTalk News Video

Team Hell No Reunite!

Breaking News!  Kane is still over in 2018.

The Big Red Political Machine made his WWE return at the end of last night’s SmackDown, saving his former Hell No tag team partner Daniel Bryan from a Bludgeon Brothers beat down after the main event.

Kane was last seen in WWE lasting until the final four of this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, after wrestling intermittently on Raw since his shock return shortly before last October’s TLC pay-per-view . But he’s since been busying himself by running for the Mayor of Hard Knox County  – which he won the Republican nomination for back at the start of May.

But eviscerating big government can only satiate the Demon’s bloodlust for so long, as he’s seemingly returning to SmackDown for at least the next few weeks.

After emotionally reuniting Team Hell No in one of the best WWE TV endings in a long time  – Dr Shelby would be so proud – SmackDown General Manager Paige then announced Kane and Bryan would face the Bludgeon Brothers at Extreme Rules for the tag team titles.

Did I expect Bryan’s first two programs following his return from retirement to be against Big Cass and tagging with Kane against the Bludgeon Brothers when you’ve got wrestlers like AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe on the same brand? Hell no. Am I happy it’s happening? Hell yes.

Real Reason Shinsuke Nakamura Pulled From SmackDown

Hopefully Nakamura will be ok to return to action soon, though, as his pre-announced US Championship match against Jeff Hardy had to be scrapped on last night’s episode because of injury.

Despite wrestling on SmackDown’s Sunday house show in Fresno, California, Nakamura missed the following night in Bakersfield because he was bitten by a dog.

PWInsider are reporting that during the day on Monday, “a law enforcement dog was being brought around the building as part of a pre-show security check.” But when the dog was taken past Shinsuke, “We are told the dog sniffed Nakamura and then, without provocation, proceeded to bite him on the leg.”

As a medical precaution, Nakamura was pulled from the Fatal Four way match he was scheduled to fight in that night, and then also his US title match against Hardy on Tuesday.

PWInsider notes that Shinsuke was backstage for last night’s SmackDown Live taping, “but his leg is still very sore from the incident.”
