WWE Raw, May 22, 2018 Ratings

Anyone who saw that WrestleRamble episode with my best friend Luke Owen will know I wasn’t too fond of Monday’s episode of Raw. And I’m not the only one, as Raw recorded its fourth lowest TV rating in the show’s modern history outside of holidays and football season.

In our poll to you, the SWAFT nation, 57% agreed rating the episode as poor. And Raw isn’t the only WWE show that’s struggling.

Total Bellas Rating

Not wanting to be outdone by Raw’s ‘fourth worst’ title, Showbuzzdaily is reporting the season three premiere of Total Bellas was the least watched episode of all time. This is rather surprising considering the John Cena and Nikki Bella break-up ‘definitely-not-a-storyline’ storyline that’s been promoting the new series.

The premiere drew 517,000 viewers, which is over 150,000 less than the season two premiere.

Daniel Bryan Teases Bullet Club Move

But Total Bellas star Daniel Bryan doesn’t have time to mope about ratings – segue – he’s too busy ramping up speculationamania on online by making a very ‘interesting’ post.

In reply to a fan’s picture of two new t-shirts she received, one of Daniel Bryan and the other of the Bullet Club’s II Sweet boyband shoot, Bryan replied…

“Interesting… ?”

Which prompted Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks to comment “All of this, can be yours”, which I assume means joining the Bullet Club rather than two women’s t-shirts.

It’s worth noting that the Bucks have recently revealed Bryan was originally planned to appear at their All In show this September before being medically cleared by WWE.

And there’s a possibility that Bryan could still end up with them by year’s close, as Dave Meltzer has reported Bryan is yet to sign a new WWE contract.

Sasha Banks Resigns With WWE

But one star that has reportedly signed a new contract is… IT’S BOSS TIME!!!

Not now, Michael Cole!

According to the Twitter profile Wrestlevotes, who have a good track record with pro wrestling scoops, Sasha Banks has signed a new deal with the company.

“Contract news: hearing that Sasha Banks has re-signed to remain w/ WWE within the last week or so. She will continue to be a key part of the women’s division for years to come. Sasha certainly earned her new deal. She moves lots of merchandise & the young fans love her.”
