A rumor killer regarding plans for Randy Orton and his WWE return has emerged – beware, there will be some big spoilers in this story.
This is your last chance to click away before some big spoiler updates on Randy Orton’s future.
As recently reported by Fightful, Randy Orton is planned to make his WWE return imminently ahead of the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series.
The plan is for Orton to join the team of Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn, while Drew McIntyre will join the Judgment Day side.
Of course, with Orton returning, there are plenty of rumors about what’ll happen with him beyond the WarGames match, especially since his former tag team partner Matt Riddle is no longer around so that’s not an option.
There had been rumors spreading online from unreliable “sources” that Orton was planned to win a major championship after his return.
Addressing these rumors, Fightful Select reports that the idea of that happening “hasn’t been broached” within WWE, so if you’ve seen that rumor going around, don’t get your hopes up.
We’ll keep you updated with any further reliable news on Orton’s status with his return coming very soon.
