Current AEW name and all around professional wrestling legend Jim Ross has revealed that he underwent cancer surgery today.
Taking to Twitter to post an update on February 1, 2024, J.R. revealed that he had just had a surgery but things had gone well.
Jim Ross wrote:
“Had cancer surgery this morning on my right hip.
“All went well.
“Thanks for all your love & support! 🤠💕”
Jim Ross not only remains an active voice in AEW, he has also had a storied career in professional wrestling spanning over six decades.
Everyone at WrestleTalk wishes all the best to Jim Ross during his post-surgery recovery.
