WWE star Drew McIntyre has now commented after winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
McIntyre punched his ticket to WrestleMania 40 during Saturday’s (February 24) premium live event, facing off against five other men to determine the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title.
With McIntyre ultimately victorious, it has now been confirmed that he will challenge for Seth Rollins’ gold at WrestleMania 40.
McIntyre has now taken to Twitter to share a photo of himself celebrating inside the chamber structure.
Ready for the April 6-7 event, he captioned his photo:
The Saviour of WrestleMania.
You can view McIntyre’s post below.
McIntyre was personally responsible for eliminating Bobby Lashley, LA Knight and runner-up Randy Orton.
The Scottish Warrior was helped from interfering stars twice, with AJ Styles attacking Knight during the bout, and Logan Paul, who had already been eliminated, dropping Randy Orton.
Rollins hasn’t wrestled since defending his title against Jinder Mahal on the January 15 edition of Raw, with the champion recovering from a ‘grade 2 tear of his MCL, a partially torn medial meniscus’.
A new update has now emerged on Rollins’ injury status, which you can read more about right here.
