A WWE championship reign came to an end on tonight’s NXT with a multi-generational talent winning the gold.
On tonight’s WWE NXT, Noam Dar put his NXT Heritage Cup Championship on the line against a mystery opponent.
As a part of the ‘No Catch clause’, Noam Dar was unaware which member of the No Quarter Catch Crew he would be facing – Drew Gulak, Myles Borne, Charlie Dempsey or Damon Kemp.
In the end, it was Charlie Dempsey that stepped into the match and would eventually go on to win the Heritage Cup!
After Dempsey picked up the first fall of the match, Noam Dar survived through another round before eventually falling via pinfall after some interference assistance from the rest of the No Quarter Catch Crew helped him out.
Charlie Dempsey of course is the real-life son of WWE legend, William Regal.
Tonight there was a surprise appearance from a returning WWE star who happened to have spent the past few years in AEW.
