A current WWE star has commented on William Regal’s return to the company on the March 5 episode of WWE NXT.
On the March 5 edition of WWE NXT, William Regal made his first in-ring appearance for the company since 2022 when he interrupted a segment featuring the No Quarter Catch Crew.
The group consisting of Drew Gulak, Miles Borne, Damon Kemp and Charlie Dempsey were celebrating Dempsey’s NXT Heritage Cup win from the week prior.
Dempsey is the son of Regal and stepped to state that he planned on defending the Cup better than his father ever could.
On March 7, Drew Gulak took to social media to post photos and comment on Regal’s appearance and his past with the former NXT General Manager. He wrote:
Why do I feel like I’m in a very long storybook?
It remains to be seen if Regal’s appearance on the show was a one-off or will lead to a recurring role at the time of this writing.
