Released star and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal has teased a matchup with AEW star and former FTW Champion HOOK.
On April 19, WWE released several stars in a series of budget cuts, which included former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.
Many fans have been wondering what will be next for Mahal following his second departure from the company he has spent over 12 years with.
On April 26, Jinder Mahal took to social media to post a video where he broke his silence about his release from WWE. He said:
“Hey it’s the Maharaja. It’s been an eventful week to say the least, but it’s all good. I wanna first say thank you. Thank you to anyone who reached out, all the love, support, DMs, phone calls, texts, comments.”
“I appreciate all of you guys. I also wanna thank everyone in the locker room. All the guys and girls, everyone working backstage, behind the scenes, thank you.”

“I still have many goals, many dream matches, many places I wanna go.”
