AEW Teasing Popular Name’s In-Ring Debut?

A segment from last night’s (June 2) AEW Rampage show has fans speculating that AEW referee Aubrey Edwards could be set to make her in-ring debut soon.

Since the inception of the company, Aubrey has been one of the top referees in AEW, namely going face to face with Chris Jericho multiple times during his big main event matches.

At AEW Double or Nothing last weekend, Aubrey got physical during the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between FTR and Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal, shoving Sonjay Dutt to the ground.

Aubrey then ended up taking a guitar shot from Karen Jarrett, taking her out of the match.

On last night’s Rampage, Lexy Nair caught up with Jeff, Karen, Lethal, Sonjay and Satnam Singh, before they were interrupted by Mark Briscoe.

Briscoe got into an argument with Karen, before he brought Aubrey into frame, and her and Karen Jarrett had a pull apart brawl.

The segment appears to be building to a match between Karen Jarrett and Aubrey Edwards, or potentially a mixed tag match between Aubrey and Mark Briscoe against Jeff and Karen Jarrett.
