In the post-AEW Worlds End media scrum, Tony Khan revealed that he is ‘absolutely’ open to introducing a new AEW championship.
With a question at the media scrum about the potential of another new championship being introduced in AEW, CEO Tony Khan was receptive to the idea.
Tony Khan said regarding the potential of AEW Women’s tag team titles that it is something that he thinks ‘would be great’.
Noting that ‘some of the greatest matches’ and ‘greatest rivalries’ that have occurred thus far between women’s tag teams in AEW, he could ‘absolutely’ see a future where an All Elite Wrestling Women’s Tag Team Championship could be introduced.
Julia Hart and Toni Storm have appeared alongside Tony Khan thus far in the post-Worlds End media scrum.
Elsewhere in the media scrum, Samoa Joe named both ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Swerve Strickland as two potential future opponents that ‘could get it’ now that he is the AEW World Champion.
