John Cena is set to star in a new movie called “Vacation Friends.” The movie will be released by Hulu and 20th Century Fox.
Cena will co-star with Meredith Hagner and Lil Rel Howery. Clay Tarver will be the director of the movie. This will be Tarver’s first time directing a feature film.

Todd Garner is producing the movie under his Broken Road Productions label. This is the same label that produced the recently released Playing with Fire, which starred Cena.
The movie is supposed to be about a straight-laced couple that meets a rowdy couple while on vacation in Mexico. After everyone returns home, the crazy couple has followed the normal couple back home.
Challenge yourself to GIVE credit, rather than demand it. All of us work very hard and it’s 100% human to want to be appreciated, but instead of scoffing at or rooting against others successes, be brave enough to let them know they’ve inspired you.

While a lot of fans are hoping for a WWE return, it looks like Cena is going to be staying busy making movies. He’s currently set to star in the following upcoming movies:
Cena’s upcoming film slate includes:
- Fast & Furious 9
- The Suicide Squad
- Project X-Traction
Cena has been very successful in his transition to the movie genre. It’s quite ironic how closely he is following in the footsteps of The Rock.
Cena was always very critical of The Rock while in character in WWE. Maybe one day soon he’ll be the focus on someone calling him a sellout.
Of course, he could just go all Seth Rollins and point to his bank account.
