Last month, there was a lot of talk of Jay White leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), with reports suggesting that there was a good chance that 28-year-old was going to be heading to WWE.
However, the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion returned to NJPW at the Road to the New Beginning event this morning, which will be music to the ears of fans of the Japanese promotion.
Speculation was intensified after Jay White was removed from the NJPW roster page last month, but it seems like this was just part of the storyline as White returned to NJPW last night.
During today’s Road to the New Beginning event at Korakuen Hall, White attacked Tomohiro Ishii, who had just picked up the win for his team in a big six-man tag team match.
