Earlier on this week, WWE announced that Smackdown’s first show on FOX Sports on October 2nd will be 20th Anniversary show.
The announcement revealed that Hall of Famers Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair and Sting are set to appear on the show.

However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Vince McMahon has approached The Rock and asked him to appear on the special show.
The former World Champion has reportedly been unable to commit to a date as of yet, with Johnson’s scheduled already very busy with his Hollywood commitments.
