In just under four week time, we’ll be seeing Seth Rollins going one on one with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.
You would be excused for thinking that Brock doesn’t care all that much about WWE, given that he appears about as often as I do, and it’s a theory Seth Rollins himself is also starting to adopt.
Speaking to Justin LaBar of NBC, Seth said this about the current champion:
“I just have a lot of passion for it and a lot of love for the industry. I feel like when people come in and disrespect our industry, it’s like a little bit of a slap in the face to me. I know it’s not that intentional, but it comes across that way. People need to understand this is not something you walk in and you can do it, you’re great at it. It takes years of sacrifice and hard work. I’m looking forward to getting in there and juxtaposing Lesnar, whose someone who’s notoriously in it for himself and in it for the money. That’s never been my gig. I’ve never been in it for myself or the cash. I’ve just been in it for the love of the industry. It’ll be an interesting clash of styles, in more ways than one.”
Rollins is expected to pick up the victory on April 7, but we’ve said that a lot about Brock’s opponents of late, and we all know how that’s turned out.
